High Sensitivity Raman Spectrometer - AvaRaman

Raman spectroscopy is particularly useful for remote sensing, product identification, reaction monitoring and the characterization of highly scattering particulate matter in aqueous solutions. It is based on the principle discovered by Prof. Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman and calculates the result of the inelastic scattering of photons.

Avantes’ high-sensitivity AvaRaman-TEC spectrometers combined with a 532nm, 633nm or 785nm laser give the best result for Raman measurements. The spectrometers are suitably configured according to the wavelength of the laser.

AvaRaman-TEC series spectrometers provide ΔT down to -30°C cooling to ambient for excellent dark noise reduction, maintaining the detector at a steady 5°C. The temperature is stable within a 0.1°C bandwidth, thanks to the PID controller.
