Rapid Monitoring of Melt Flow Rate with the Cflow Extrusion Plastometer
The compact Cflow extrusion plastometers are built as a stand-alone instrument for fast monitoring of melt mass flow rate (MFR). They are mainly used for goods inwards checks at plastics processing plants where extrusion tests are performed on an unscheduled basis.

The extrusion behavior of plastics is examined safely and quickly in compliance with Method A
The test weight is kept in the preheating position with the test weight supports available as an option
Extensive accessories, such as the manual or automatic extrudate cutter, are available as an option
Technical Overview
The Cflowis engineered for MFR tests to Method A and can be used for tests to the following standards: Method A as per ISO 1133, ASTM D3364, ASTM D1238, and JIS K 7210.
