Brabender^® GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1923 as Brabender & Co, Elektrotechnische Fabrik GmbH by Carl Wilhelm Brabender. Today, around 160 employees work for the company.

As a leading supplier, Brabender^® develops, produces and distributes devices and equipment for testing material quality and physical properties in all areas of research, development and production – worldwide for the two main applications Food & Feed and Plastics & Rubber.

Development and production are highly integrated at Brabender. This guarantees the company quality “Made in Germany”. Research, development and production of the instruments take place exclusively in Germany.

At the company headquarters in Duisburg, customers have access to an application technology laboratory where they can also test the devices themselves or develop innovations together with Brabender experts.

Brabender^® GmbH & Co. KG is present in more than 130 countries with about 100 representatives, the export share is about 85 %. Besides Europe, the main markets are the American and Asian markets.
