Toubani Resources

Toubani Resources (ASX: TRE) is an exploration and development gold company with expansive holdings in West Africa's prolific Birimian Greenstone Belt in southern Mali.

Toubani is focused on the development of the Kobada Gold Project where a 2021 DFS defined an oxide-dominant, free-milling, low capital and low operating cost gold project with the potential to produce more than 100,000 ounces of gold per annum for 10 years.

In July 2023, Toubani commissioned an optimisation update of the 2021 DFS with the aim of demonstrating the potential for Kobada to support higher throughput and production rates, and lower costs, over an extended mine life.

The Company also has an attractive land position and remains significantly underexplored with 11km of strike extent now defined over the 50km of regional scale shear zones within its tenure. The Kobada main deposit, which hosts 2.4Moz of predominantly free-dig, oxide gold over a strike extent of 4.5km, is also open at depth with mineralisation open down dip and along the entire strike extent below the current average drill depth of 110m.
