Fully Mechanized Rock Bolting - Boltec LC from Atlas Copco
Atlas Copco offers the Boltec LC rock bolting rig, which is a fully mechanized rig designed for roof heights of approximately 12 m and for bolt lengths ranging from 1.5 to 6 m. A Rig Control System in this equipment allows positioning, bolting and drilling operations. The rig is also equipped with the COP 1132 short, high-frequency hydraulic rock drill, which is exclusively designed for bolt-hole drilling tasks.

Rig Control System with auto-collaring offers high accuracy; it also provides anti-jamming protection for improved drill steel economy.
MBU bolting unit enables fully mechanized bolt handling operation for enhanced productivity; it carries 10 bolts in its carousel and controls handles all generally used bolts in the 1.5 to 6 m range.
COP 1132 hydraulic rock drill offers excellent penetration rate with superior drill steel economy.
