SLD (Super Luminescent Diode) – The Coherence of an LED with the Brightness of an LD

The L12856-04 SLDs offer both the low coherence of LEDs and high brightness of LDs, enabling them to work as a high-brightness light source that compensate the drawbacks of LDs, such as coherent noise. They are used for medical imaging and optical applied measurements.
