Radal has developed unique and innovative products in each area and has won many awards for innovation. As market leader in the tobacco detection and control market, the company devised the very first tobacco smoke detector back in 1998. Spotting a gap in the market, the company was originally set up by Brent Dunleavey to research the possibility of detecting low levels of cigarette smoke with existing, commercially available sensing technology.

The company is building on its position as market leader in the UK by expanding overseas. It currently has distributed to over 25 countries and are serving key growth markets like North America and Europe.
