Founded in 1921 in Reutte, Austria, today Plansee is an international company and is represented in 28 countries. In 12 production facilities in the USA, Europe, and Asia we manufacture according to the highest quality standards, from semifinished products to individual customer solutions.

As a leading enterprise in the field of powder metallurgy, we cover the entire production process in-house – from the ore right to the customer-specific component. To do this, we press and sinter metal powder and perform a range of deforming operations to manufacture extremely tough, reliable products.To help our customers boost productivity and encourage technological innovation, we attach particular importance to research and development. We work together closely with our customers to develop new materials and product solutions for forward-looking technologies in fields such as clean energy, medical engineering, electronics, and mobility.
