Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS) and other imaging applications require high-frame-rate cameras with cutting-edge imaging technology. The Lt-C/M1610’s 96 frames per second frame rate make it possible to image high-speed traffic in a variety of lighting conditions.

The camera’s 9 µm pixel size has a dynamic range of 73 dB and a full well capacity of up to 100Ke–, which allows it to capture an impressive amount of detail in low light conditions. As a result, the Lt-C/M1610 will be able to precisely capture important information, such as license plate characters, as the sun sets.

About Sony Pregius Gen 3 Global Shutter CMOS Camera Technology

The Teledyne Lumenera Lt Camera Series now has access to Sony Pregius Gen 3 sensors, which increase dynamic range. The Sony Pregius Gen 3 sensors capture much more detail in low light conditions since they are built with larger pixel sizes and have large full well capacities.

These sensors’ High Conversion Gain feature can be used for applications such as outdoor imaging or with varying brightness levels. By capturing more light without adding a lot of noise, this special offering enables cameras to produce clear images.
