Northfield Foundry & Machine Co

Northfield Foundry and Machine Co. was established in Northfield, Minnesota, in 1920 by the Machacek family. It was during the 1920s that the foundation for the manufacturing of woodworking machinery was established. Steady growth occurred through the years as Northfield became the leader in the manufacturing of intermediate and heavy duty woodworking machinery.

The company established a reputation for its application of hydraulics to woodworking machinery. Through the years, Northfield has also established itself as a manufacturer of custom machinery in areas other than the woodworking industry.
