Metrohm offers the 2035 Process Analyzer in three basic configurations to perform thermometric, photometric and potentiometric titrations. The versatile wet-chemical analyzer is an integrated system for around-the-clock online monitoring of key chemical parameters in wastewater streams and industrial processes.
Key Features
The key features of the 2035 Process Analyzer are as follows:
IP66/NEMA 4-rated protection in adverse conditions
Modular wet part enables greater flexibility for applications
Possibility to integrate additional measuring techniques, such as pH and conductivity
Customizable, easy-to-use interface with a number of security levels
Remote control capability facilitates the evaluation of results and inspection of diagnostics
Available Options
Customization for any situation – It is possible to select burets or pumps in the analyzer to perform all liquid handling tasks, and multiple sample streams can be handled by implementing selection valves. The analyzer also has a wall mount, reagent cabinet, and table stand as options for further customization. It is possible to custom-build shelters and other specialized protection solutions upon request.
Titration made simple – The potentiometric version of the 2035 Process Analyzer uses dedicated electrodes and titrants, eliminating the need for calibration and offering high selectivity. This variant is also ideal for ion-selective analysis, an accurate standard addition method suitable for more challenging sample matrices at low concentrations.
Stable photometric analyses – The photometric version of the 2035 Process Analyzer features a compact photometer module, equipped with a high-performance LED. The range of applications can be extended with a cuvette module and a fiber-optic dipping probe. Using differential measurements collected before and after the color reagent addition helps to eliminate common interferences like sample color and turbidity. The thermostated photometer module ensures that the results are repeatable and accurate with high sensitivity even at low concentration levels, by eliminating sample temperature effects.
Thermometric titration for difficult samples – Thermometric titration can handle samples that are not possible to be potentiometrically titrated, and is an ideal method to handle aggressive matrices like HF, due to to the presence of the robust thermometric sensor. Calibration is not required for this thermometric sensor, and membrane or diaphragm is not present in this sensor. The temperature change of the solution when performing titration is used to determine the endpoint. This technique can perform rapid analysis, for instance it takes under 3 minutes for acid mixture analysis.
