The iMicro nanoindenter is equipped with the InForce 1000 actuator for conducting nanoindentation and universal nanomechanical tests. It also offers the option to incorporate the InForce 50 actuator for testing softer materials.
Featuring the versatile InView software, this compact nanomechanical testing platform simplifies the nanoscale testing process. The iMicro nanoindenter includes a high-speed InQuest controller and a built-in vibration isolation gantry within its enclosure.
This system is capable of testing a wide variety of materials and devices, including metals, ceramics, composites, thin films, coatings, polymers, biomaterials, and gels.

Features
The InForce 1000 actuator facilitates capacitance displacement measurement and electromagnetic force actuation, featuring interchangeable tips.
It includes an XY motion system with a user-friendly magnetic sample holder for easy mounting.
For those working with softer materials, the optional InForce 50 actuator offers a maximum 50 mN normal force, and the system boasts a unique software-integrated tip-calibration system, ensuring rapid and accurate tip calibration.
The high-stiffness gantry comes with integrated vibration isolation to ensure precise testing conditions.
Equipped with InQuest high-speed controller electronics, the device achieves a 100 kHz data acquisition rate and maintains a 20 µs time constant.
An integrated microscope with digital zoom enhances the accuracy of indentation targeting.
The system adheres to ISO 14577 standards and conforms to standardized test methods.
Utilizing the InView software package, users can access features such as RunTest, ReviewData, InFocus reporting, InView University online training, and the InView mobile application for comprehensive testing capabilities.
