Cryogenics

CMR Directranges of cryogenic equipment include liquid helium and nitrogen storage dewars, gas handling and safety equipment and a wide range of specialist materials for cryogenic construction.

Wiring

Low temperature work makes great demands upon the electrical wiring used. Wire, connectors and heatsinking must be selected to minimise heatleak at low temperature. Laboratory cables need to be made professionally for low-noise performance.

Sample Mounting

Sample mounting components include non-magnetic JEDEC chip carriers and mPuck sample mounting stages for experiments below 4K, especially in vacuum when sample thermalisation needs to be achieved via demountable electrical connections.

Electrical Measurements

CMR-Direct produces the industry's only commercial low temperature transformers, which coupled with Lock-In detection and narrow-band filtering, can provide ultra-low-noise performance for AC Resistivity and AC Susceptibility measurements.
