Used in combination with the microscope camera ZEISS Axiocam 208 color, users have the benefit of a smart stand-alone microscope solution. Digital documentation is considered as part of the system design.
Users can just press the ergonomic Snap button and they are done. Camera settings, such as exposure time, white balanceand image improvement functions are all done automatically. Without the need for extra imaging software or even a computer, users can:

Use mouse (and, at times, a keyboard) to control users’ camera through on-screen display
Predefine the name or rename users’ image
Users can store images with all microscope and camera metadata along with scaling information
