The EA8000 X-ray analyzer available from Hitachi High-Tech Analytical Science has been designed to enable efficient and fast quality control during the production of lithium-ion batteries (LiBs).
The EA8000 analyzer integrates X-ray fluorescence analysis with X-ray transmission imaging in one instrument, and quickly finds and identifies metals contaminants that can adversely impact the performance of LiBs.

Rapid Analysis

Automated Operation
The EA8000 analyzer first identifies metal particles via imaging, and then uses XRF technology to automatically scan those areas. This automated procedure makes sure that all sites of contaminants are examined, and minimizes the chances of operator error.
