VARTA Microbattery consistently invests in research and development of new materials and technologies for product and system innovations. The development of new products and the adaptation of existing products to the constantly changing requirements of our customers and their markets demands a constant observation of the market and permanent information exchange with our business partners.

Our own chemical labs, prototype construction and safety labs support our international development team in their daily progress. Our own process development team implements the newly developed products and technologies into our highly automated, high-volume production lines. We also develop the electronics and software of our battery packs “in-house” in order to react quickly to changing requirements.
