U-628 Miniature, High Speed, Closed-Loop Rotary Stage from Physik Instrumente

The U-628 from Physik Instrumente features an integrated optical encoder for direct metrology. It has an unlimited rotation range, a reference point switch and a central clear aperture with 7 mm diameter.

Oscillating piezoceramic actuators act directly on the ring-shaped runner. It also has a high velocity and a holding torque of 0.1 Nm.
