The XRF Scientific automated macro thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) is a high-throughput solution for various thermal analysis applications. It was designed with industrial users and large-scale scientific facilities in mind. The TGA system results from 30 years of creating precise heating and weighing solutions for applications in every aspect of research and industry.
Thermal decomposition testing for various characteristics, including moisture, volatiles, ash, fixed-carbon, and Loss on Ignition (LOI) content, is done using thermogravimetry. To continually track sample mass changes over time as a function of temperature, the TGA analyzer uses specialised heating and weighing equipment.
Customers can create various thermogravimetric profiles based on their materials or phenomena of interest by employing user-defined thermal programs that are quickly established using an intuitive touchscreen interface.
With its larger sample capacity and improved temperature capabilities, the new TGA enhances high-throughput processes without significantly increasing costs.
