TruPyc Technology for Unmatched Accuracy in all Sample Cells
The precision of gas pycnometry depends on the correct matching of the void space inside the sample chamber to the volume of the reference chamber. Any discrepancy in this ratio results in huge uncertainty.
For this fault to be prevented, the Ultrapycs provide the conclusive solution: All Ultrapycs feature multiple reference chambers to guarantee precise outcomes if users have only sufficient sample to fill the smallest sample cell or sufficient for the largest sample cell. The instrument automatically chooses and makes use of the suitable reference chamber depending on the chosen cell size.

TruLock lid Provides Absolute Repeatability
The TruLock sample chamber lid is developed for easy usage and consistent sample chamber volume each time that it is sealed. This enables Ultrapyc instruments to ensure best-in-class accuracy. PowderProtect Technology for Safely Measuring Fine Powders
The standard “sample first” expansion direction used in the Ultrapyc instruments guarantees that users have control over the highest pressure to which the sample is exposed during the measurement.
Shifting the unit to PowderProtect mode overturns this order and avoids contamination of the instrument with fine powders. The Ultrapyc 5000 series is the only commercially available gas pycnometer that provides users the option to work in either direction.

Precise, Fastand Hassle-Free Temperature Control
External water baths for temperature control are outdated. Users can cut the clutter with the most advanced Peltier temperature control providing temperature stability better than +/–0.05 °C on Ultrapyc 5000 pycnometers.

Intuitive User Interface for Simple Instrument Control

Direct Connection to Weighing Balances to Prevent Transcription Errors
