The Hardinge® Quest®-Series Turning Center Machines
The Hardinge® Quest®-Series includes advanced turning center machines developed for rapid changeovers required by users to considerably decrease setup and cycle times.
The QUEST-series machines feature Hardinge’s interchangeable, patented top plates, which can be pre-tooled for a specific task or an array of tasks, and also include the world’s popular quick-change collet-ready spindle.
The QUEST-series is an exceptional complement to a Swiss machining operation and is used on an unlimited number of machine installations across the world. It has improved automation capability and automated robotic parts handling abilities for a truly remarkable value.
Certain improvements to this advanced machine comprise four times faster index time, 18% faster X-axis traverse rate, 172% more X-axis travel, 57% faster Z-axis traverse rate, 30% less floor space, and more rigidity with the FANUC servo turret index motor.
