Tekion, Inc. is a North American company with operations in both Champaign, Illinois and Burnaby, British Columbia. By integrating advanced battery technology with a unique micro fuel cell technology, Tekion is creating a new “personal power source". Known as a Formira™ Power Pack, this new power source is capable of fitting inside your mobile device.

In early 2003, a small group of executives with extensive experience in engineering, commercialization and financing of energy storage and generation technologies came together with the objective of finding an early-stage fuel cell technology and building a company around its commercialization. The group founded Tekion.
