TA.XTExpress Connect Texture Analyzer for QC-Based Texture Analysis

The TA.XTExpressC Texture Analyzer available from Stable Micro Systems is an entry-level and QC-based texture analysis option. It enables low-cost portable analysis for a variety of low-force applications.

With a touchscreen operation, a choice of two specialized software packages, and the latest option of utilizing mobile devices, the analyzer can be easily configured to fulfill users’ precise requirements. In addition, test profiles are stored for instant use and results are automatically examined using product-specific procedures or “in-built” standards like Bloom or TPA.

The TA.XTExpressC Texture Analyzer offers a portable and more compact solution for users to perform texture analysis with a narrower specification; therefore, the instrument provides an economical option for applications that are less complicated.

The analyzer can measure almost any physical product property like gel strength, adhesiveness, fracturability, hardness, and extensibility of foods, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, adhesives, gels, and many other consumer products, that measure up to 10 kg in force.

The TA.XTExpressC Texture Analyzer is often used for measuring and quantifying empirical, fundamental, andimitative tests in both tension and compression, spanning those relating to materials properties, texture analysis, as well as the effects of rheology of powders, solids, semi-solids, granulate materials, and viscous liquids.

All Connect series texture analyzers available from Stable Micro Systems can be operated through the regular equipment touchscreen interface, and also through a laptop or desktop PC. Stable Micro Systems provides the most universal texture analyzers currently available to fully meet the growing demands for quantifiable, precise, and repeatable information on textural or physical property. Different fixtures and probes are used in the texture analyzer series based on the needed test method. Each fixture or probe has been developed for a certain set of applications, and can be easily and rapidly fixed. Samples are either held between a pair of fixtures, or positioned on the instrument’s base or on the lower fixture.

During a simple test, the texture analyzer’s arm containing the loadcell moves down to compress or penetrate the product, and subsequently returns to its original position while determining forces in either direction.
