SZ51/SZ61 Stereo Microscopes from Evident

The SZ51/SZ61 stereo microscopes are designed to capture images with high clarity, excellent depth of field, vivid color and detail. These microscopes come with reliable, high-performance optics, which is integral for generating stable and accurate results.

The zoom ratios of SZ51/61 microscopes are 5:1 and 6.7:1, respectively, and their inclination angles for observation are either 45° or 60°.

The latest aberration and distortion-free optics is incorporated into the zoom bodies using Greenough optical design to set a new optical quality standard without affecting operability. The V-shape optical path provides a slim zoom body, which is suitable for standalone use or integration with other equipment.

The optimum inward angle allows an exact combination of high level flatness and depth of focus for 3D viewing. True color images with fine details can be rendered by superior optical coatings. The microscopes have a built in ESD protection where antistatic materials and coatings in the main unit and major accessories effectively prevent damage to specimen due to static electricity.

Illumination units provided with SZ51/SZ61 microscopes, include "off the bench" illuminators, the coaxial reflected light illumination system, and the white LED illuminator system. The "off the bench" illuminator comes with single, double interlock or ring light guides to provide bright, long life illumination.

The coaxial reflected light illuminator allows easy viewing of specimens that are difficult to view under oblique reflected light illumination. The white LED illuminator has superior brightness and reduced thermal effect, which make it suitable for homogeneous lighting.

Evident offers the SZ51/61 as 45° or 60° oriented models to match bench stands or OEM integration. The SZ61TR is a video/digital camera equipped with an integrated c-mount optically matched to the zoom body, so as to ensure parfocal, sharp images when connected to a camera.

The curved ultra-slim stands of the microscopes with contoured base plates ensure easy access to specimens. In addition, Evident offers different types of ESD safe and adjustable boom stands for evaluating and assembling larger samples. Large platform stands, however, can accommodate auxillary posts of 400mm and 600mm.

Evident’ digital cameras available as PC controllable or stand alone systems can be easily fitted to the SZ61TR. Software modules are also available for database archiving, report generation and sample measurements.
