Superior Performance Premier Deuterium Halogen Light Source

The AvaLight-DH-S is Avantes’ most potent deuterium halogen source. The DH-S, like the DHc, is a combined deuterium and halogen light source capable of transmitting light in the UV/VIS/NIR spectrum, but it produces 35 times more halogen and up to 300 times more deuterium power.

The source features a significant 656 nm deuterium peak, which may reduce dynamic range (Avalight-DH-S-BAL is an option). It features a focusing lens assembly to maximize the fiber’s capabilities and size.

The AvaLight-D-S is a dedicated deuterium light source, ideal for UV measurements in the range of 190 to 400 nm. For experiments requiring even deeper UV wavelengths, the AvaLight-D-S-DUV variant extends the range down to 175 nm and provides twice the intensity at 200 nm compared to the standard model.

The AvaLight-DH-S output is suited for fibers or bundles up to 600 µm. For larger fibers, the focal point is manually adjusted to enhance light coupling into the fiber.

The AvaLight-D(H)-S comes with a built-in TTL shutter and a filter holder that accommodates filters up to 50 x 50 x 5.0 mm in size.
