Refined Optical Performance
Modern optical microscopes have the same UIS2 infinity-corrected optical system as the STM7 series.

The STM7 series features a very resilient, vibration-resistant frame with a granite surface plate to further increase measurement accuracy. This stability enables sub-micron level measurements with minimal error.
