STAR INSTRUMENTS manufactures professional-quality custom optics, specializing in Ritchey-Chretien optical systems. Additionally, we design, fabricate and perform testing of custom optical systems including Classical Cassegrain, ultraviolet, visual and infrared applications as well as mirrors and lens systems. Professional series optical systems are manufactured using AstroSitall or upon customer request, special order materials such as Zerodur, Fused Silica or ULE.

STAR INSTRUMENTS provides direct telephone optical design services between the customer and actual optician. We pride ourselves in the design and fabrication of optics in our own facility with the attention to detail and reasonable delivery times. All optics are tested by autocollimation.
