Spectroplast is an award-winning Spinoff from ETH Zurich, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. The team has successfully bridged the gap to meet a longstanding demand on the market: Silicone 3D Printing.

With Silicone 3D Printing, biocompatible and certified silicones are 3D printed at highest precision and performance, without the use of molds - saving costs and time - all at zero waste.

Spectroplast believes that 3D printing has the potential for a paradigm shift from rapid prototyping to mass production of personalized products. So far, only rigid materials such as metals, ceramics and plastic have been accessible to Additive Manufacturing. With the world’s first silicone 3D printing, stretchable materials such as silicones are made accessible to 3D Printing. Conventionally, silicone components are fabricated in millions by injection molding or casting that require molds. This is both lengthy and expensive.
