The latest AvaSpec-HERO spectrometer is designed for users that require high resolution and high sensitivity. It combines the best resolution with high sensitivity into one instrument.
The AvaSpec-HERO is based around Avantes High Sensitivity Compact 100 mm optical bench, providing a NA of 0.13 and a cooled Backthinned Detector (1024 x 58 pixels). For the electronics, the latest AS7010 board is used including a High Performance Analog to Digital convertor with superior noise performance and the ability to communicate high speed via Ethernet and USB 3.0.
The combination of these two sophisticated components will provide users with an exceptional instrument providing the suitable balance between resolution and sensitivity, and the capability of using longer integration times in low light applications yet guaranteeing great signal to noise performance transferred by the newest communication standards.
The Avaspec-HERO is standard equipped for use with replaceable slits, providing excellent flexibility for a range of applications. The combination of all of the above features is what makes the AvaSpec-HERO the ideal partner for all spectroscopic measurements.
