Spectral Imaging Ltd

SPECIM, located in area of Technopolis in the city of Oulu in Finland, was founded in 1995 by three scientists with extensive experience in optical spectrometry from VTT Electronics, one of the nine research institutes of the Technical Research Centre of Finland.

Specim's current personnel has altogether more than 60 years of experience in developing solutions for spectrometric applications, optics and instruments in the field of hyperspectral imaging. Specim's main expertise is in imaging spectrographs, spectral cameras and complete remote sensing systems based on transmissive and reflective dispersive optics.

Specim is devoted to finding solutions i.e. in the field of process analytical technologies, life science, and agricultural & environmental research.
