The NexSAR™ HPLC from PerkinElmer is a next-generation Speciation Analysis Ready system that has been specially designed with a completely inert and metal-free fluid path. This allows laboratories to fulfill low chromatographic background needs on the most difficult speciation applications.

Also, this system is part of the NexSAR HPLC-ICP-MS Speciation Solution, which integrates the NexSAR HPLC with PerkinElmer’s revolutionary NexION^® ICP-MS and is smoothly combined with the help of the proven Clarity™ software.

Overview

Listed below are the individual components of the NexSAR™ HPLC system:

NexSAR 200 Inert HPLC Pump has been designed to provide pulse-free and quiet baselines, with a fluid path that is entirely metal-free and composed of inert materials

NexSAR Solvent Tray has been ergonomically engineered to decrease cavitation and store solvent bottles in an inert holder, thus avoiding spillages or leaks from harming the rest of the system

NexSAR Inert or Cooled Inert HPLC Autosampler also has a metal-free and inert fluid path and comes in either cooled or non-cooled configurations, where the non-cooled configuration can be completely upgraded to the cooled configuration or version

Optional NexSAR HPLC Column Oven helps to additionally guarantee run-to-run stability in laboratories with unstable temperatures, with the extra benefit of enhancing elution times in several applications, where quicker chromatography equates to greater productivity

Optional three-channel NexSAR Degasser and Solvent Tray enables degassing of up to three different solvents, decreasing the risk of air bubbles from penetrating the system, which would differently impact the performance of pump and column

Optional NexSAR HPLC Switching Valve is also available with a metal-free and inert fluid path. This unit has the ability to divert the mobile phase away from the detector, allowing users to tune the ICP-MS simultaneously as equilibrating their column.
