Sialon Level Sensors for Molten Metal Monitoring

International Syalons manufacture a range of sialon level sensors for use in the non-ferrous molten metal industry. These are used to monitor the level of the molten metal during die casting for example.

Advantages of Using Syalon 501 Level Sensors

Made from Syalon 501, they are uniquely characterised by high electrical conductivity, combined with the excellent thermal shock resistance, corrosion resistance and non-wetting behaviour characteristic of our other grades of Syalon used in molten metal handling.

Syalon 501 has been used widely in this application and is stable up to temperatures of 800°C in oxidising environments.

As with all our molten metal handling products, Syalon 501 level sensors give excellent performance, service life and value for money.
