Science Stuff

Science Stuff began as a consulting business. As a consultant, Sue E. Bachus taught science workshops for K-8 teachers in numerous schools and school districts. The retail business materialized because teachers in the workshops wanted to purchase the items she used in teaching. The entrepreneurial lemonade-stand itch prevailed, and she created the first Science Stuff catalog in 1993 and handed them out in her workshops. The word spread and before long, there were phone calls for products and people showing up at her door. The company has grown ever since and Science Stuff went online in 1997.
