Sandmeyer Steel Company was founded in 1952 by the late Paul C. Sandmeyer. We have been family owned and operated since our inception. Upon Paul Sandmeyer's untimely death in 1969, his son, Ronald P. Sandmeyer, assumed the responsibilities of President. He, along with Paul L. von Zech as Executive Vice President, continued to build upon Paul Sandmeyer's foundation.

Stocking the largest and most extensive single-site stainless plate inventory in North America, we are the industry heavyweight. With over 15 million pounds of stainless and nickel alloy plate available, covering 34 grades and 34 thicknesses, we can satisfy your most demanding and hard-to-find requirements. With over 100 pieces of value added plate processing equipment on-site, we can provide you with virtually any shape or configuration required, from parts that are plasma cut to abrasive waterjet cut to Machincut (our “Specialty of the House”) and much more
