1250M Research Spectrometer with Extra-Large Mirrors
HORIBA Scientific has launched the 1250M Research Spectrometer that offers ultra high resolution ……...
UHV Design’s PowerProbe sample transfer arms allow for the safe transfer of samples within UHV. This is achieved through their unmatched magnetic coupling strength.
Apart from the linear and linear/rotary probes, this wide range includes the Dual-Axis PowerProbe and the Elevating PowerProbe developed to transfer particular industry-standard sample holders through a range of actuation techniques.
Key Features
The transfer of samples can be done safely
Unmatched magnetic coupling strength
4 Nm (3 lbf ft) break-away torque
Unparalleled thrust performance
Stiff coupling
Angular rigidity
Can be fully baked to 250 °C
Linear-Only Transfer Arm
The high-performance, magnetically coupled linear devices have been developed for transferring samples where only linear motion is needed and rotation is not preferred. It is available in typical stroke lengths ranging from 304 to 1524 mm.
Linear and Rotary Transfer Arm
The high-performance, magnetically coupled combined linear or rotary devices have been developed for the transfer of samples. Both rotary and linear motion of the sample can be obtained through a single actuator with stroke length varying from 304 to 1524 mm.
Dual-Axis Transfer Arm
The dual-axis transfer arm has been developed for sample transfer with the independent rotary motion of the inner shaft and linear motion of the outer shaft. It is perfect for systems where a secondary motion is needed to activate an end-effector mechanism.
Elevating Transfer Arm
The entire sampling-handling system offers linear motion and a lift of up to 50 mm in the Y-axis for sample hand-off. Stroke lengths vary from 304 to 1219 mm and motorization options are also available.
Triple-Axis Transfer Arm
The magnetically coupled triple-axis transfer arm offers rotary and linear motion with an exclusive sample gripping mechanism that enables samples to be closed onto and off the probe.
Rotary and linear motion of the sample is obtained through a single actuator with a stroke length of 304 to 1219 mm. Then, the special lock or unlock mechanism triggers an autonomous shaft to offer gripper activation.
Customization Options
Options for customization include retracted switches, tailored shaft lengthsand motorization.
