Rowiak GmbH

Rowiak GmbH was founded in November 2003. The company offers laser instruments for applications in life science. Basis of the innovative opto-electronical products, developed by Rowiak, is the femtosecond laser technology. Using ultrashort laser pulses, extremly precise cutting is feasible due to nonlinear interaction processes inside biological tissues and various materials. This innovative technology is combined with other successful technologies, like an imaging system for online monitoring of the cutting process. First product is a laser based microtome for precise, non-contact sectioning.
