Raman Building Block 1064
B&W Tek allowsusers to design and configure a personal spectrometer system. The extraordinary manufacturing capabilities of B&W Tek enable users to build a standalone spectrometer system using its unique flexible OEM setup.
The OEM modular system accommodates all exclusive demands and can be easily made to order depending on applications. This easy-to-use Discover It Yourself RAMAN BUILDING BLOCK 1064 setup is comprised of a 1064-nm laser, a spectrometer, a sampling probeand other optional accessories. Users can build a suitable breadboarding system depending on their requirements.

Software
Solutions that are best suited for Raman applications are offered by B&W Tek’s BWSpec® software and Software Development Kit (SDK) packages.
BWSpec®
BWSpec®, a spectral data acquisition software, forms the basis of all B&W Tek instruments. The software package includes tools that can carry out measurements and calculations at the touch of a button. Users can get data in multiple formats, and acquisition parameters like laser power and integration time can be improved. Manual/auto baseline correction and automatic dark removal are also some of its exclusive features.
Software Development Kit (SDK)
B&W Tek’s interface allows users to control spectroscopic instruments through SDKs. Simple laser and spectrometer rules of calibration, data acquisitionand module synchronization can be achieved. Although it is designed for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows operating systems, all USB-based spectrometers can make use of the SDK package.
If users are looking for complete system control, then an advanced package with chemometric model support from BWIQ softwareand data processing algorithms is also available. Some of the mathematic functions that enable the delivery of a comprehensive solution spectrometer system include peak finding, curve fitting, smoothing, and a prediction engine.
The 1064-nm Raman Building Block has one starter breadboard in the laser excitation classification. Engineers have designed each building block with components of the highest quality. Each block ensures that users achieve the most precise and efficient method to realize their goals.

Laser Options
The 1064-nm laser product is constructed according to the requirements of customers and sold as a module or a component to fit into another piece of equipment. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the equipment complies with the US FDA21 CFR 1040 for laser standards before selling in the market.
