Accurate and Precise

All piston movements are regulated by the onboard microprocessor, which maneuvers the piston at the set distance and the set speed, irrespective of the user. The innovative stepper motor has 4,000 discrete steps, delivering very precise liquid measurements. At the end of a pipetting cycle, the E4 XLS adjustable spacer is engineered to re-calibrate itself by resetting the zero point.

Fast Format Change

Continuously variable spacing enables nozzle spacing between 9–14 mm on 8-channel models and 9–19 mm on 6-channel models, ideal for pickup from 96-well plates and dispensing to 24-well plates or tubes, or vice versa. Effortless one-hand adjustment allows on-the-fly altering after aspiration and before dispensing. Spacing marks provide a quick visual aid, or the adjustable detent can be set for repeatable spacing without viewing.
