Precise High-Temperature Testing With the ATS 3350 Box Furnace

Flexural strength is known to helppredict deformation behavior at service temperatures. Thus, the ATS Hot Modulus of Rupture (HMOR) system has been specifically crafted to perform 3-point bend tests (MOR) to help characterize the flexural strength at of refractory materials at elevated temperatures.

The 3350 Box Furnace from the Applied Test System can operate at temperatures as high as 3272 °F (1800 °C). This HMOR is designed and manufactured to meet ASTM C583 standards and specifications.

Features:

The specimen test fixture consists of a bottom fixture and an upper compression ram. It comeswith user-specified contact point sizes and spacing.

An optional feeder for numerous specimens. The multiple-specimen option allows up to five specimens to be heated in the furnace at once, increasing efficiency. It consists of a container to hold previously tested specimens and a method for feeding specimens.

Optional specimen clearer with separate waste bin.
