Plastometrex

Plastometrex develops advanced, software-powered mechanical testing solutions. Our first product to market is the Indentation Plastometer which measures stress-strain curves and metal strength parameters from a simple indentation test. The whole procedure takes just three minutes, and the technology combines the very best attributes of hardness testing (speed, ease and simplicity of testing) with the very best attributes of uniaxial tensile testing (measurement of full stress-strain curves).

The technology is extremely well suited for high throughput testing, combinatorial analysis, the testing of additively manufactured materials, and spatial mapping of metal strength characteristics. It can also be used in instances where it isn't possible to machine tensile test samples.
