PixonImaging LLC is the exclusive licensee of the Pixon method for military, security, microscopy, compression, commercial video, and other applications. The Pixon method is a new and innovative way of modeling an image in terms of its information content that allows remarkable new capabilities in the fields of image reconstruction and data compression. In addition to the original Pixon method, which has a rich and versatile software implementation, we have a hardware implementation of the Quick Pixon method suitable for real-time video processing. The Full Pixon method has the highest level of performance. We and colleagues have demonstrated factor of 20 improvement in resolution, sub-diffraction resolution, and noise reduction of over a factor of 100.
