The personal DataRAM™ pDR-1000AN from Thermo Scientific™ has been specifically developed to help users quantify huge concentrations of smoke, dust, fumesand mists in real-time. The palm-sized aerosol monitor or datalogger raises an audible alarm whenever the user-specified level is surpassed.
The pDR-1000AN employs single beam nephelometry and integrates light-scattering to generate an ideal particle response for high correlation with standard gravimetric measurements. Thanks to datalogging, the pDR-1000AN automatically tags and time stamps the gathered data to be stored for later retrieval, computer graphingor printing.
Key Features
Flexible data logging routines can be performed
Simple belt or shoulder strap attachment for portability
US MSHA Intrinsic safety approval
Additional Information
Light-scattering photometer provides high correlation with gravimetric measurement of respirable and thoracic fractions with ideal response to particles measuring 0.1 to10 μm
The absence of moving parts ensures silent operation and the least maintenance charges
Internal firmware regulates automatic calibration check; gravimetric calibration can be executed in the field for optimum efficiency
Unit is gravimetrically calibrated in mg/m3 and can be readily used following the easy zeroing step (comes with the kit)
Datalogger automatically tags and time stamps data gathered and stores it for later retrieval, graphing through a PCor printing
