Linear Variable Filters

Linearly variable filters provide constant spectral variation in wavelength or bandwidth over a single linear direction of the filter. These filters can be created in longpass, shortpass, or bandpass configurations, including spectral gradients of up to 50 nm/mm along the length of the part.

Patterned Filters

Patterned filters from Omega Optical provide a range of different filters coated on a single substrate in a pattern. This allows ideal integration into image sensors and miniaturization and eliminates the need for using a component assembly.

Absorbing Coatings

Absorbing coatings are particularly helpful in reducing signal interference and reflection of light inside an optical system with the help of order sorting. Omega Optical applies new high-index dielectric materials and is currently designing advanced filters. The dielectric materials significantly decrease reflections and high absorption in the visible and NIR regions, while ensuring high absorption.

Block Filters

Block filters provide a butcher-block array of various filters in a single group (see the figure below). It is possible to achieve small and complex arrays, which can be provided in filter wheels and circular mounting.
