optoCONTROL 2700: High-Performance Micrometer

The optoCONTROL 2700 high-performance LED micrometer enables unsurpassed accuracy for demanding measurement tasks. Thickness, gaps, edges and segments can be measured with high precision. Precise measurements of small objects from 0.3 mm can be performed. The LED precision micrometer offers a linearity of ≤ 1 µm and a digital resolution of 10 nm. It is used, for example, in semiconductor production, the automotive industry, aerospace and medical technology.Very little installation and cabling are required because the controller is built into the receiver.

The decisive advantage is the telecentric optics, which significantly optimizes the measurement accuracy. Orthogonal alignment of the measuring object is therefore not necessary.

Active Tilt Correction of the Measuring Object

The optoCONTROL 2700 detects the precise alignment and angle of the measuring object. Because of the integrated evaluation, the measured value is automatically corrected for the measuring object's inclination. Consequently, the precise measurement value is output. The inclination correction is available for the diameter measuring programs. The web interface allows for the output of the detected image for visual verification.

Using an intuitive web interface, the optoCONTROL 2700 can be configured in its entirety without additional software. Users can access the web interface through an Ethernet connection, which provides a wealth of parameterization options for all measurement tasks and allows for quick and simple setup of parameters like averaging, measuring rate, and presets. The stored presets allow quick and simple sensor parameterization for the measurement task with only one click.

The set-up mode makes precise positioning of the measuring object in the light beam quick and simple. The integrated black-and-white image makes it simple to set up the measuring object. This allows the user to set up and adjust the precise position more quickly and with less effort. A red line indicates the midpoint of the measurement range on both axes.
