OPCO Laboratory, Inc.

Our company is a full service in-house optics manufacturer, both prototype and high production volume. We were founded in 1976 by our Chairman, Saverio (Sam) Maldari, to provide Optical Coating services to high technology companies specializing in analytical instrumentation and industrial systems. In the early 1980's, our company expanded its operations to include Optical Fabrication and Optical Assemblies. By the 1990's OPCO added Replication Services to our repertoire of optical capabilities. This strategy to expand our services has proven to be beneficial to both our customers and our company. Our ability to perform services from fabrication and replication through coatings and optical assemblies controls our production process in a way that improves quality control while reducing overall costs to you, our customer.

OPCO continues to expand its facilities by adding state of the art technologies to its manufacturing process and quality control testing. Our precision optics are produced in a modern facility which utilizes CNC manufacturing in our fabrication department to Box Coaters employing Ion Assist E-Beam Deposition in our coating department. Performance and specifications are assured using our advanced metrology equipment, including interferometers and spectrometers.
