Since 1963, Omley has been involved in custom vacuum brazing, meeting special requirements of many customers in a variety of fields requiring application for high-temperature, high-voltage, high pressure, aerospace, high-energy physics, medical technology, super conductivity, ultra-high vacuum, cryogenics and numerous other requirements.

Omley has capabilities for brazing or welding Metal to Metal assemblies with like or dissimilar metals. Many customers prefer brazing for its many advantages, such as cosmetic appearance, cleanliness, baked-out surfaces, and the elimination of oxidation outgassing and virtual leak areas that are common with welding. The surprising aspect of brazing is its low cost. In most cases, it is very competitive with welding.
