The history of OCSiAl began in 2009 with the question – “Is it possible to create an industrial technology for the synthesis of single walled carbon nanotubes, scalable to hundreds of thousands of tons per year with costs, which will have been reduced up to one hundred order of magnitude?”

This dream united famous physicist Mikhail Predtechensky and such businessmen as Yuri Koropachinskiy, Yuri Zelvenskiy and Oleg Kirillov. They saw a fundamental opportunity to improve the properties of most of the produced materials.

OCSiAl became for them a unique opportunity to create one of those companies that really make the world a better place to live.

The "Graphetron 1.0" was launched on November 14, 2013. It became the largest industrial facility for the single wall carbon nanotubes synthesis.
