National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR)

Expanding horizons in meteorology and weather forecasting, water cycle hydrology, oceanography, solar physics, atmospheric chemistry and air quality, climate science, computer science, environmental science, and STEM education. We provide research, observing and computing facilities, and services for the atmospheric and Earth system science community.

With UCAR, we promote partnership in a collaborative community of university and laboratory researchers dedicated to understanding the atmosphere and the interconnected processes that make up the Earth system, from the ocean floor to the Sun's core.
