Nanolayers - Optical Coatings & Technologies

The Nanolayers GmbH was founded in 1998. The company originated as a research group from the faculty of Applied Physics, Light and Particle Optics at the University of Darmstadt.

The company has been able to gather "many layers" of experience from 10 years of intensive work and research, which were put to good use during the development and construction of the company's expensive coating equipment.

No other company in Europe specializes in producing such high-quality optical coatings, which are tailored to meet the extremely complex needs of its customers in science and industry, in such small quantities - from the conception of the optics to the design of the layer system to production.
