Most imaging applications use more than one fluorescent probe e.g. FRET, dual color imaging, co-localization studies. Andor Technology offers a highly flexible and versatile solution for researchers working with multi-wavelength imaging.
TuCam
The TuCam is an advanced two-camera adaptor for both macro and microscopic applications. It can be configured as a switch between camera models with a variety of imaging capabilities, or for simultaneous imaging from two similar cameras. It is compatible with Andor’s full range of leading commercial low light imaging cameras, such as Clara Interline CCD, iXon Ultra and Luca EMCCDs, and the Neo and Zyla sCMOS cameras. It is also compatible with any detector from a third party suppliers. The TuCam can be easily integrated in any laboratory or multi-user imaging facility. The TuCam does not need to be integrated into any software. It has the largest aperture available in the market, allowing a number of sensors ranging from very small to very large to be used smoothly with the TuCam.
Optosplit II/III
The Optosplit II/III from Andor is another option for imaging applications. Both are simple devices and allow one camera to record images simultaneously at two or three optically varied wavelengths. It is an inexpensive technique to perform multi-wavelength applications with a single camera sensor. The Optosplit II/III is compatible with a broad range of imaging cameras.
Both devices can be integrated seamlessly to any microscope, and will be advantageous in lab or research facilities by offering several options and versatility for the researcher.
