Atlas Copco offers Robbins 53RH C which is an unique multipurpose raise drill. It is a low profile design, and is suitable for use in conventional raise boring and upward boxhole boring without the need of modifying the drive assembly.
Key Features
The key features of the Robbins 53RH C are:
Motor is present in offset position for low profile design
Two float boxes are provided in main gear box for easily switching between boxhole and raise modes
Interlocks are provided in the Robbins 53RH C for avoiding the human errors
Auto makeup, anti-jamming, and gradual ramp up of power are standard functions which are provided while pilot drilling and reaming.
